Magistrații Curții Supreme de Justiției (CSJ) au respins recursul Comisiei Electorale Centrale (CEC) împotriva deciziei Curții de Apel Chișinău (CA) prin care au fost anulate anexele privind deschiderea a 139 și respectiv 146 de secții de vot în străinătate, a fost obligat CEC să-și revizuiască deciziile și să aprobe altă hotărâre, ținând cont de avizul Ministerului de Externe, prin care s-a propus deschiderea a 191 de secții. Magistrații CA au anulat hotărârea CEC prin care s-a decis, la 5 iunie curent, deschiderea a 139 de secții de vot în străinătate și anexa hotărârii din 8 iunie prin care CEC a decis deschiderea a 146 de secții de vot în străinătate. Vineri, 19 iunie, CEC a atacat cu recurs la CSJ decizia CA. Dosarul privind secțiile de vot din străinătate a fost examinat timp de șapte zile de CA. Contestații cu privire la modificarea deciziei CEC privind numărul secțiilor de vot care urmează să fie deschise în străinătate pentru alegerile parlamentare anticipate din 11 iulie au fost depuse de Partidul Unității Naționale, Partidul Acțiune și Solidaritate, Alianța pentru Unirea Românilor, Platforma DA, Partidul Democrația Acasă, Partidul Acasă Construim Europa și Blocul electoral „Renato Usatîi”.
